Mrs Emily White

3, 4, 5 Teacher and principle

Emily White has been at Trinity Lutheran for 13 years and has been teaching for 24 years. She became the Principal at Trinity since 2019. She received her Bachelor’s from Concordia University-Seward. She says, “I loved school and loved being around children. I love to learn and teaching is an occupation where you never stop learning.” She enjoys that everyday is different and never boring.  She enjoys watching the ‘aha’ moments as students learn new things. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, baking and traveling.  
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.-Ephesians 2:8-9

miss Danica PRaeuner

6, 7, & 8 grade teacher

Danica Praeuner has been teaching at Trinity for 2.5 years and teaching for 7.5 years. Miss Praeuner received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Unified Endorsements from University of Nebraska-Kearney. She is currently working on her Lutheran Colloquy from Concordia University-Seward. She says, “I have always wanted to be a teacher. I wanted to give back to the next generation what my teachers gave me.”  She enjoys the ‘ah-ha’ moment when a student understands something they have struggled with. In her free time she likes to read, listen to music, and spend time with family.

miss michaela grubb

1 and 2 grade teacher

Michaela Grubb began her teaching career at Trinity and has been here for five years. Miss Grubb attended St. John Lutheran School in Battle Creek, Lutheran High Northeast, Northeast Community College and Wayne State College receiving her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Inclusive Birth-3rd grade with a supplemental endorsement in K-6 reading and writing. She recently completed her Lutheran Colloquy from Concordia University-Seward. She became a teacher because she has always enjoyed working with young children and had worked as a summer nanny, taught swimming lessons, and worked in childcare centers. She says, “As a child I struggled in school, but I had great teachers who helped me. I knew that if God could use them to help me, God could use me to help students too.” She enjoys interacting with the children and watching them learn, grow, and develop spiritually and academically. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with my boyfriend, family, and friends. She especially likes to exercise, crochet, cook and go hiking, hunting, and shooting.
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.-2 Timothy 3:14-15 

mrs annie rumsey

Annie Rumsey has been serving at Trinity Lutheran School for 33 years in a variety Callings. She has been in the field of education for 35 years. Mrs. Rumsey received her BSE from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Lutheran Colloquy from Concordia University-Seward. She entered the field of education because she enjoys working with students. She enjoys watching her “students grow physically, socially, educationally, and in their faith”.  Mrs. Rumsey likes to spend time with family, read and do puzzles.
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. -John 15:11

mrs kathy farlee


Kathy Farlee has been at Trinity Lutheran School for three years teaching our preschool children. She has been a teacher for 40 years. Mrs. Farlee received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from University of Nebraska. She entered the field of education because she has always loved learning and people, so the field of education was a natural fit. She says, “It’s wonderful to watch and be a part of students growing in so many ways”. She enjoys the smiling faces she gets to see everyday and the day-to-day progress students make as they learn to read and write and so many other things for the first time. Mrs. Farlee likes to read, craft, crochet, bake, walk, watch sports and attempt to golf in her free time.
